Then head on down to Kinokuniya this Saturday for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund's Banned Books Week Membership Drive! "New York manga fans are invited to celebrate Banned Books Week tomorrow at Kinokuniya Bookstore (across from Bryant Park) where the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund will be holding a membership drive featuring incredible manga gifts including original art from manga-ka, advance copies of new manga, rare Attack on Titan merch, and more! About CBLDF: Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is a non-profit organization that protects the freedom to read!  We are dedicated to the protection of the First Amendment rights of the comics art form and its community of retailers, creators, publishers, librarians, and readers. The CBLDF provides legal referrals, representation, advice, assistance, and education in furtherance of these goals. http://www.cbldf.org About CBLDF's manga program work: Defending Manga: The Ryan Matheson Story - a documentary short about how CBLDF fought on behalf of a manga fan facing criminal charges and got all charges dropped.
